This Sunday the World Cup Brazil 2014 comes to an end. Over four weeks, the biggest sports event of the year hasn’t stopped surprising us.

With so many different styles, both teams have managed to reach the World Cup final. Germany as an offensive team, while Argentina is supported by the talents of their individuality.
Previously, the two teams have met in the World Cup final. The first time was in Mexico 1986, Argentina’s squad defeating Germany 3-2. Four years later, in 1990 Italy, met again in the final, the winner was the German Mannschaft. But apparently the third time will be the charm in this World Cup showdown.

Sometimes the best thing about a home is not actually in it. In other words, from time to time it is good to leave the comfort of the four walls of the home and take a walk around. In Germany there are a lot of landscapes, but some of the most picturesque can be found in the dense coniferous forests, especially in the south, where the Bavarian Alps complete the landscape.
For its part, Argentina offers an incredible variety of landscapes, ranging from glaciers on the famous Tierra del Fuego archipelago, reaching to the tropical climate of the Iguazu Falls, perhaps the most impressive in the world. In between are the famous Pampas plains and conifer forests in southern Argentine territory.

If instead of leaving the comforts of the city you prefer to stay closer to home, both countries have much to offer, with an interesting cultural life. In Berlin, capital of Germany, the famous Museum Island is located on a small island crossed by the river Spree. One of the most impressive buildings is the Pergamon Museum, which is full of archaeological sites such as Pergamon, Miletus and Ishtar excavations.
Moreover, Buenos Aires has one of the most interesting cultural offerings when it comes to performing arts. In the Argentine capital are some of the country’s top drama schools and most prestigious Latin American dance. Avenida Corrientes is considered to be the Broadway of Buenos Aires.
4. Dessert
And finally, we will discuss the desserts that Germany and Argentina offer. Germany has its cakes, with the apfelstrudel being one of the main ones. A descendant of baklava from Armenia, this dessert came to Germany during the Renaissance, becoming one of the most popular desserts in the country.
Even though Argentina is famous for its pies and its dulce de leche, alfajores are maye the most emblematic of the cuisine of this country. Although its origins date back to Arab domination in Spain, Argentina has made it one of its most recognizable desserts: two cookies joined by a sweet filling, dipped in chocolate or sugar.
