This is to ensure greater security, reliability, organization, and balance in various real estate transactions conducted in Saudi Arabia, This license is exclusively granted to qualified, registered, and professional individuals and entities engaged in various real estate brokerage activities, excluding unqualified and unauthorized parties, This is to protect one of the most significant pillars of comprehensive economic development in the country.
Types of FAL License
According to the executive regulations issued by the General Real Estate Authority regarding the application of the new FAL licensing system, the licenses are divided into five different categories, in addition to the real estate advertising license, and according to the Authority’s law, holders of any of these licenses are not allowed to practice any real estate activity except the activity specified in the license, without exceeding that or providing other services, and these five categories are:
- FAL Real Estate Brokerage and Marketing License
- FAL Property Management License
- FAL Facilities Management License
- FAL Auction Management License
- FAL Real Estate Consulting and Analysis License
Conditions for obtaining a FAL license
The General Authority for Real Estate in Saudi Arabia has stipulated a set of conditions that must be implemented by individuals and other conditions on the part of institutions, in order to extract a FAL license for real estate brokerage of any of the mentioned types, which are as follows:
Conditions for individuals
- Saudi nationality
- Reaching the age of 18 years
- The license applicant must be fully competent and not convicted of a crime against honor or honesty
- Passing the qualification program for each activity
- Fulfill the financial fee for the license, except for the license to practice real estate marketing and advertising
Requirements for Offices and Establishments
- The existence of a FALid commercial register including the activities to be licensed
- The responsible manager must be fully competent and not convicted of a crime against honor or honesty
- The responsible manager must be qualified to practice the activity as determined by the Authority
- Fulfillment of the license fee, with the exception of the real estate marketing and advertising license

- Click on Register a New User
